Our outpatient service in the county of Lörrach is for families where disease, death, death and sorrow are part of life.
Voluntary family companions of the Malteser visit children, young people and families at home or in the clinic, in their usual environment and daily life. They relieve and strengthen in everyday life, ensure a small break, play with the children, are interlocutors or just there.

Once a month we also offer a group of grief in the "Alte Apotheke" in Grenzach-Whylen. The meeting point is aimed at children from 6 years old to give a room for mourning and the feelings associated with it.

We offer accompaniment from the time of diagnosis. It is free of charge and independent of any religious affiliation, worldview or nationality. Our support is tailored to the individual needs of the affected family and is constantly adapted to the situation as needed.

We work with regional networks as well as clinics, outpatient care services, the SAPV, pastoral care, doctors, other hospices, self-help groups, among others, and provide further needs-oriented assistance.
