Christophorus Gemeinschaft e.V. is the sponsor of the Werksiedlung Kandern and is an institution for integration assistance. It offers people with disabilities a wide range of work and housing opportunities. Our task is to accompany, support and promote people in need of assistance, our goal is the highest possible quality of life and job satisfaction. Werksiedlung Kandern offers living and working for people in need of support: daily structuring offers in the support and care area, workshop for people with disabilities, outpatient assisted living and residential communities. Participation in working life takes place in the traditional primal crafts: weaving, felt workshop, agriculture, timber industry, weaving workshop, candle workshop, bakery and kitchen. Natural living either in family-like residential communities or close to the city in outpatient residential communities or outpatiently cared for in their own apartment.
