German Red Cross - County Association Lörrach e.V.

We are a district association of the German Red Cross. We are a member of the State Association of the Baden Red Cross and the Federal Association and thus part of the worldwide Red Cross and Red Crescent movement.

Our work is based on the Principles the Red Cross and the Red Crescent, and Mission statement and guiding principles the German Red Cross.

The German Red Cross District Association Lörrach e.V. is one of the major aid organizations in the district of Lörrach. We are supported by the trust of our approximately 14000 members in the 13 Local associations of our association, who support us with membership fees.

Our district association has full-time and volunteer employees. Full-time and voluntary work stands on an equal footing and complements each other.

The Volunteer Office in the district association includes about 550 active people in readiness, social work and working groups as well as about 340 members of the Youth Red Cross. Volunteer volunteers provide tens of thousands of hours of free work each year in the service of the common good. Volunteering is essentially carried out by local associations.
