Social counselling in the hospital tries to reduce the personal burdens of the patient resulting from his illness and their treatment through social assistance. For this purpose, it offers, among other things: psychosocial counselling and support in the case of illness, disability and age counseling and organization of services for medical rehabilitation counseling and organization of stays in day care, short-term care facilities as well as in nursing homes and hospice facilities counseling and organization of offers of outpatient help at home information on selected legal and social issues information about counseling centers, institutions, interest groups and self-help groups in the district as well as relief offers for relatives and other caregivers of the patient.
