Diagnosis of a retinal disease changes a lot. Of course, things like reading a newspaper, working on a computer, greeting the neighbors, shopping in the supermarket, lawn mowing or even home improvement become exhausting or are no longer possible.

Experts on their own behalf

Depending on the form of the disease, the experienced limitations are different. However, retinal diseases have one thing in common: First of all, they are more invisible to the personal environment.

This is where our work begins as a self-help group of PRO RETINA Deutschland e.V. in Lörrach/Südschwarzwald.
