The senior academy Hochrhein-Wiesental e.V. was founded on 01.04.2019 in Zell im Wiesental.

The picture of ageing and ageing has changed significantly in recent years. Many seniors are still active after leaving their working life and want to take advantage of the free time for themselves or for other people. With a concern of the Academy, it is therefore necessary to offer a wide range of educational and participation opportunities to people who are in or in the transition to the third stage of life.

Qualifications

Our qualification is the summer of the qualifications of our competitors.

As a non-profit organization, we rely on volunteers. Knowledge transfer is one of the core tasks, but also the transfer of knowledge, the enormous wealth of experience available in the older generation, to the younger generation, is an important concern and a special goal of the Academy. Thus, it is also possible to contribute this existing knowledge and competences as a speaker or lecturer within the academy: learning to age – learning in old age – learning from old age.

Our course offer should be adapted to the different needs of the seniors. With our program design we want to reach a variety of people from our region.
