Both tenants, subtenants, residents of a home within the meaning of the Home Act, but also owners of housing (e.g. a condominium or a house) can receive housing allowance. The aim is to enable them to live in an adequate apartment at a reasonable price. The granting and amount of the housing allowance depend on: the size of the family, the amount of the family income, the amount of the eligible housing costs.
