The offer of the residential association Rheinfelden is aimed at adults with disabilities. The focus here is on supporting and promoting the independence of the respective client individually so that the corresponding person can lead as normal a life as possible within society and especially in the city of Rheinfelden. Overview of the different housing offers: Ambulante Wohnbegleitung (AWB)/Beorgutes Wohnen (BWB) : Is an ambulatory service offer that offers people with disabilities the chance to live in the city of Rheinfelden with an assistance service in their own rented apartment. Employees provide individual support in coping with everyday life in various areas of life. If necessary, additional services are provided (nursing service, domestic help). The ambulatory assistance takes place inside and outside the apartment. Due to the variety of disabilities and life situations, as well as the resulting different needs of the clients, we have a wide range of services. Outpatient residential training: Outpatient residential training supports people with disabilities on their way to a largely independent and responsible lifestyle. It prepares for a life in the ambulatory residential escort. The offer is for people with disabilities, who previously e.g. For example, have lived in a form of housing with a comprehensive supply character or have also moved from the family environment for the first time into their own apartment. The employees support the clients in growing into different areas of life (food, shopping, household, money, authorities, partnership, doctor visits, behavior in emergency situations, living in the city, living with neighbors.) and taking responsibility. This is done through guidance and training during home visits, accompaniment and various courses. The ambulatory residential training is usually designed for the duration of two years. Accompanying in the situation of origin: is an ambulatory offer for people with disabilities who want/have to move out of their parents’ home. We support the clients and parents in determining the need for help, in the future perspective and the design of the detachment process. We help to clarify different requirements, with government matters, leisure opportunities and get to know different housing options. We also arrange relief offers if necessary. Assisted living in families/host families (BWF): Is an ambulatory offer for people with disabilities living in host families. We advise the host family on issues of cohabitation, promotion and support of the guest. We also provide support in various eligibility requirements, in administrative matters and mediate or offer relief options. For the disabled person, we are neutral contacts. Assisted residential communities with different intensity of care: In our residential complex in the middle of the city of Rheinfelden, we offer 23 people with disabilities a home in five different sized residential communities. In addition to single rooms, the residential communities have accessible sanitary areas as well as a kitchen, dining and living room area. All residents can use the roof terrace and garden of the house. A professionally qualified team supports the residents individually in everyday life seven days a week and is at night during the nighttime on site. In addition to the design of everyday life, the team supports the residents in daily care, food planning and preparation, shopping, leisure activities and medical care, cleaning the residential communities is carried out by a cleaning service. The laundry care takes place, depending on the abilities of the inhabitants, partly in the residential complex or also in the laundry.
