Confidential birth is an aid offer for pregnant women who want to keep their pregnancy secret.
Reasons for this are often perceived as particularly difficult situations of life and/or a danger to one's own well-being. Confidential birth creates the basis for safely bringing children to the world under a protected identity and with medical help.
Each confidential birth is, in principle, preceded by advice from a pregnancies advisory body.
