Information on the European Day of Protest on Equality for Persons with Disabilities
Together for inclusion on 5. May
5 May is the European Day of Protest for Equality of Persons with Disabilities. This day draws attention to the rights of people with disabilities. It shows where there are barriers and inequality.
Under the motto “One for all – we are many” the Complementary Independent Participation Consultations (EUTB)®) united in the South Baden region to set a sign for inclusion and equality.
EUTB® is a nationwide consulting service. They are aimed at people with disabilities, people at risk of disability and their relatives. The advice is independent, free of charge and at eye level. The aim is to strengthen people in their self-determination.
As part of the protest day, we are present in four places in public space. There we offer information and advice. You can find our stands in:
· Lörrach: 5 May, 11 a.m.–15 a.m., Alter Marktplatz, EUTB® of the Fritz Berger Foundation Lörrach
· Freiburg on 6. May from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the potato market in front of the Schwarzwald City by the EUTB® of PRO RETINA Deutschland e.V.

· Emmendingen: 5 May, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Schneckenbrunnen, EUTB® der Lebenshilfe Kreisvereinigung Emmendingen e.V.
We want to inform, listen and talk. Because: We are many and we want to be taken seriously with our needs – on May 5 and every day. Participation is non-negotiable. We cordially invite all interested parties to visit us at the stands.
In addition, we cordially invite you to a self-experience from the EUTB of the Fritz Berger Foundation in Lörrach. Under the motto “What is it like to live with a visual impairment?” you can experience at three stations the challenges facing visually impaired people and the everyday tricks that make their lives easier.
