Mutter-Kind-Station und Station Luckeblick im St. Elisabethen-Krankenhaus (Weekbed Station)
On our postpartum ward, we look after you comprehensively and competently in the days following the birth of your child. The first days with a newborn are a special and intense time. We want you to feel well supported when getting to know your baby.
The St. Elisabethen Hospital has two postpartum wards, the mother-child ward and the Luckeblick elective performance ward. On both stations, if available, you have the option to move into a family room with your partner, so that you can experience the special phase of getting to know each other together in the first days after the birth.
We attach great importance to bonding and are happy to support this unreservedly on our station. Your baby is in your room (rooming-in) for 24 hours, so you really have the time to get to know each other.
Our station is staffed around the clock with trained nursing staff, who will look after you for all concerns and have an open ear for your questions and concerns. In addition, our staff also includes several breastfeeding and lactation consultants IBCLC, who offer additional breastfeeding consultations for our inpatients at regular intervals. Our care offer is rounded off by doctors from the fields of gynecology and pediatrics, baby pilots and physiotherapists. Customized to your needs, we also work together with other specialist areas within the clinics of the district of Lörrach.
We look forward to welcoming you to our station!
