DRC motorhome of choice

With our DRK Herzwunsch-Mobil we have made it our task to fulfill a wish in the last phase of life of seriously ill people. A visit with family members, a trip to a place with which special memories are connected or one would like to visit, wishes that can be made possible by us. In order to fulfill the wish, in addition to the suitable vehicles, knowledge in dealing with seriously ill people is usually required. In the DRK Kreisverband Lörrach e.V. we have these basic prerequisites and can extend them to further specialists if necessary.

The fulfillment of such a wish is supported by voluntary commitment and is free of charge for the desired recipient. Any costs incurred shall be borne by donations and grants. We would like to thank all participants who support us in this project.

How can the wish be submitted to us?

The request for fulfillment of a heart's desire is made by means of a document, which we have deposited for you as a download below. After registration of the wish, an organising body decides whether the wish can be fulfilled. A doctor of the organizing committee also contacts the family doctor of the patient and discusses the medical concerns. If nothing opposes a wish fulfillment, the team of the DRC Herzwunsch-Mobil organizes the wish for the passenger's ideas. We are also happy to provide you with advice by telephone.

With the request application, we ask you to release us from the medical confidentiality for your treating doctor. The doctors involved in our project will talk to their attending doctor about the feasibility of the desire from a medical point of view.
