IBB Lörrach according to § 9 PsychKHG BW
Information, advice and complaints centre for people with mental illness or disability and relatives. An independent body according to § 9 PsychKHG BW.
You can contact us if you cannot solve mental health problems on your own and are looking for a contact person, need information about offers for people with mental illnesses and their relatives, do not see your personal rights granted, need a guide and/or have problems or conflicts with a psychiatric institution.
We see ourselves as pilots in the psychiatric and social help system. Our goal is to bring good solutions together with you.
As an independent information, advice and complaints centre, we are open to your concerns, take your complaint without prejudice, take you seriously, mediate in the event of conflicts and work with you to find solutions.
The team is composed of those affected by psychiatry experience, relatives of people with a mental illness and persons with a professional background and thus offers support from different perspectives.
The use of the IBB office is free of charge. We work voluntarily, are independent and are subject to confidentiality. There is no legal advice.
We are a member of the municipal psychiatric association (GPV) as well as the specialist circle of inclusion and participation (FIT) of the district of Lörrach. We are also a member of the nationwide mental health action alliance. In these committees, too, we are committed to the interests of people with a mental illness and their relatives. The legal basis of the IBB office is the Mental Health Assistance Act of the State of Baden-Württemberg (PsychKHG). This gives us the basis for discussions with doctors, hospitals, authorities, etc.
Supported by the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Integration from state funds approved by the State Parliament of Baden-Württemberg, the IBB Agency is the district of Lörrach.
