Sleeping advice for nursing mother-child couples

Sleeping advice for nursing mother-child couples

We speakEnglish

Frequent nightly breastfeeding is essential during the first years of life for long-term successful breastfeeding and the optimal development of the child. At the same time, it is one of the biggest challenges of the breastfeeding period, which can lead to great exhaustion and despair, especially since many parents are not aware that the nightly breastfeeding rate in the second half-year does not decrease, but even increases.

Educated volunteers from La Leche Liga, Silent Group Lörrach, also advise on this frequent problem in breastfeeding with the aim that mother and child can recover well despite the nightly silence. It is worth visiting the regular silences, as breastfeeding women can also exchange their experiences with sleeping and give each other helpful tips. If a visit to the silent group in Lörrach or online is not possible, the consultation can also take place by phone (Myrjam Früh, 07621 48332, if necessary speak to the AB).
