The Dreiland-Klinikum invites on 21. June to the Open Building Day
Sunday 21st From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the new Dreiland-Klinikum Lörrach will open its site doors to the public. At the “Open Construction Day”, visitors will have the rare opportunity to take an exclusive look behind the scenes of a future project that is much noticed in the healthcare sector. On this day, the health campus with the emerging clinic and the Center for Mental Health (ZsG) already in operation will become a lively meeting place for young and old.
Where construction is still taking place today, the healthcare of tomorrow will be created: modern, future-oriented and close to home. Many of the structural issues that are being discussed nationwide today in the course of the health reform were addressed in the district of Lörrach over 20 years ago. Today, the Lörracher Weg stands for the consistent pooling of competences and for a clear focus on quality and specialization. With the step of merging four locations on a common health campus, the structural prerequisites for modern, cross-sectoral care were created. The fact that the Dreiland Clinic is also perceived as a model project nationwide today shows that the right questions were asked here at an early stage – especially the central question: What really helps patients?
A future project can be experienced
It offers exciting insights into medical disciplines, interactive participation actions for the whole family, presentations, information stands and encounters with the people who shape this project and fill it with life in the future. Also for the physical well-being is provided with food trucks and living areas. The Lörrach health campus is much more than a construction project. It is a place where people will be treated, accompanied and cared for in the future – a place of hope, innovation and community. That is why this day should not only inform, but connect.
“The bridge connecting the Center for Mental Health (ZsG) under the auspices of the Center for Psychiatry (ZfP) Emmendingen not only connects two buildings – it symbolizes a holistic understanding of care that combines physical and mental health and organizes it together,” explains Udo Lavendel, CEO of the clinics of the Lörrach district. “All employees of the health campus look forward to welcoming the people of the region on this special day and to taking a look into the future of health care together.” The Erich Kästner School, which will in future be located in the new building of the ZsG, also presents itself at the Open Construction Site Day and provides insights into its educational offerings.
Accessibility
Since no parking spaces will be available on the clinic grounds as well as in the surrounding residential and industrial areas, a comprehensive transport concept was developed for the event day. Visitors are asked to travel if possible by public transport, by bicycle or via the park & ride offers. For guests by car, several free P&R parking spaces are available in the region. From there, shuttle buses bring visitors directly to the event site and back again. The shuttles operate between 10:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., at intervals of about 15 to 20 minutes.
Coming from different directions – from Schopfheim/Maulburg, from Lörrach/Brombach station and from Lörrach Haagen/Messe – a free shuttle service is offered. Cyclists benefit from signposted cycle paths and spacious bicycle parking spaces on site. All information about the event, the program as well as the detailed traffic concept and the exact parking spaces can be found online at: www.klinloe.de/neues-klinikum/tag-der-offenen-baustelle.html

Since no wardrobe is set up, guests are asked to refrain from bringing larger bags. Due to the construction site format, it is also recommended to wear firm footwear. Individual areas of the health campus cannot yet be fully accessible due to the current construction progress at the time of the event.
