AOK supports HealthSocial.digital
Strengthening health competence and digital participation in the Lörrach County
The AOK Hochrhein-Bodensee supports the projectGesundSozial.digital“ also financially in 2025 and thus supports the further development of the digital offer “Health and Social Compass in the district of Lörrach”, which can be found on the Internet at www.gesundsozial.digital.
“We are very pleased with the renewed support of the AOK Hochrhein-Bodensee”, says Oli Lou Kramer, project manager of GesundSozial.digital. “The support enables us to further develop the platform technically and in terms of content – and to align it even more closely with the needs of citizens. ‘
The GesundSozial.digital platform has existed since the end of June 2025 and offers citizens a central, barrier-free point of contact to find and better understand health and social services in the region – from doctor's practices and advice centres to self-help groups and trusted health information.
The content is available in seven languages and is easily accessible. Thus, older people and people with little digital experience can also benefit from the offers. The aim is to strengthen health competence in the county, promote digital participation and thus relieve the strained supply system.
“Health competence is a key factor for people to be able to cope better in the complex supply system,” said Carlo Wolf, Deputy Managing Director of AOK Hochrhein-Bodensee. “GesundSozial.digital makes an important contribution here by providing information in a comprehensible, accessible and regionally anchored manner. This strengthens self-responsibility and facilitates participation in everyday life. ‘
In addition to financial support, the project also benefits from the technical exchange: “AOK’s networks and expertise provide important insights into supply realities and prevention work – a knowledge that flows directly into the further development of the platform”, says Isabell Dörflinger, GesundSozial.digital.
In the concept phase, AOK Hochrhein-Bodensee had already supported the project – still under the name “Digital Health Compass” at the time – with 10,000 euros and actively engaged in the control loop of the predecessor project on primary care “Health in the Lörrach district – for a future-proof supply”. In the future, the exchange with regional health actors remains a central part of the project in order to sustainably promote digital participation and orientation in healthcare.
